About

Thanks for visiting Invertebrate Me.

This gallery of images represents a minuscule fraction of the nearly 19,000 specimens in the Invertebrate Me collection (although, admittedly, a number of them are very small: microfossils such as ostracods and minimollusks). I’ve been collecting privately and noncommercially for some 45 years. About half the collection is made up of Paleozoic fossils, largely but not exclusively brachiopods, from the Ordovician through Carboniferous, and about half is Cenozoic mollusks (with special attention to the Plio-Pleistocene of Florida and Italy).

Check out the “Recent Posts” or “Categories” links (below) to see what I’ve been posting lately. If you have doubts about any of the IDs, please get in touch. There’s never a bad time to learn something from other collectors.
