Anadara sp. cf. A. diluvii (Lamark 1805). Plio-Pleistocene, Province of Pisa, Italy. Scale is in millimeters. Compare with A. floridana, a Florida species. A. diluvii is less elongated and is closer to square than rectangular; the umbo in A. diluvii is also nearer the center of each valve. |
